I work for the security services department at Wellstar Cobb Hospital and there are multiple situations that Brandon, not only has help his medical staff co-workers, but has assisted me in a number of situations that made me a better officer with his dedication to working as a team member with a passion for safety. Brandon has also helped and educated our security staff by helping us make better decisions when dealing with patients who have escalated to make our approach with “said” patients a safer and better approach. I have seen Brandon’s stellar bedside manner as a nurse when taking care of his patients over the years but also as an educator for the rest of his nurses as a Charge Nurse.

Brandon makes everyone around him so much better! He treats everyone, no matter the position they hold work that much harder! I don’t believe I have ever seen anyone get upset with him. To be honest I can’t believe this hasn’t happened already but I am here to tell you nurse Brandon has helped in keeping his staff safe whenever possible. I have seen Brandon be a vessel of knowledge to his techs, other nurses, and doctors trying to get a foothold on many things. Brandon has shown to be kind, passionate, and humorous in the most frustrating times and yet still continues in helping anyone that needs it. Brandon also likes to share his stories with many of us about when he worked as a waiter and bartender.

And now to being one of the best nurses we have. With undeniable energy, I have never seen Brandon ever in a frustrating situation. He also loves to share his travels with his wife and special events in his own life. There are so many other nurses that work at our hospital that are just as deserving but Brandon seems to show how he can adapt to working with new nurses as well as the diehard nurses that have been at the hospital for more years than him.
