July 2026 Honoree
Brandon Napoleoni Ramirez, RN
When entering this hospital, I did not know what to expect. This is my first time getting service from this facility. I was in excruciating pain and agony. At one point, I was beyond ready to go. To the point I didn't even want anymore help. I was in so much pain that I got beside myself. Acted out of character for a moment, which is not my norm. I can admit I was so on edge I became a little mean. The compassion Brandon Napoleoni Ramirez had was everything I could ask for and more. The patience he has is indescribable. His love for both his job and patients is undeniable.
I was upset and at my wits' end. Through it all, he still managed to calm me down, as he helped me the whole time. He reassured me that not only would I get the care I needed, but that the care would be up to my standards. Even going above and beyond what I thought was acceptable! Even in the following days, when he was not my nurse, he still found time to come check on me. He was also offering extra help I needed. He is the sole reason I decided to stay. Brandon had the right words and actions to help me think logically and realistically through the pain and discomfort. He talked to my mom and also helped her understand what the options were and how he could help me. He literally treated me like family and not just a stranger who walked into this hospital for care.
Love you, Brandon. I am forever grateful for you. I will pray that you continue to show the compassion you have and continue to be blessed for all the good you put into this world! Thank you so much!
