My primary purpose in writing this letter is to commend and recognize the outstanding performance of Brandon!
My wife was recovering from open heart surgery four days later. She seemed to be recovering nicely. When I entered her room, Brandon was attending to her and I greeted them both with a "hello." Brandon turned to me and said, "Just a minute . . . something seems wrong with X, something is off." He asked her a few questions, then turned to me and told me she might be having a stroke. He then immediately called for assistance and within two minutes the room was filled with people and equipment. X was soon spirited away.
I was advised a short time later that she indeed suffered a stroke, two actually. My primary purpose in writing this letter is to commend and recognize the outstanding performance of Brandon! If he had not been astute and insightful enough to detect that X was having a stroke, I shudder to consider the consequences. His swift action and skillful handling of the event deserve high praise! Everyone who attended to X at MCR was incredible in their skill, compassion, and caring. I have never witnessed such a high level of dedication and professionalism in any healthcare facility - they were all stellar. That is some team you have there! Thank you, Brandon!
