Thank you to Brandy for the kindness and care. You are such a genuine person and a gem as a nurse. Where do I begin to count the ways in which she lifted my spirit by helping me feel heard, even with the understanding of fibromyalgia pain? Because of this, she made sure to keep checking on my pain level, making sure that she monitored it and never allowed it to get to an unbearable level. She also made sure to greet me in a way that showed she was happy to see me, and she always showed me how much she treasures her job and her patients.

I cannot understand how she made me feel like her only patient. She always made sure to ask about any concerns that I may have. She answered my many questions, and if she did not have an answer, she would consult with the doctors. She's such an amazing nurse. Her bedside manners are amazing. And then I think of how patients like me would lose an amazing, compassionate, loving nurse. I believe that she should be nominated because she is a light, a very bright light for people in my situation. She made me feel so cared for time and time again. If I had to have long-term healthcare, I would choose her as my nurse. Also, her attention to detail, like keeping me always clean and making sure that my gown and even my socks were clean, meant so much.
