I would like to nominate this Nurse for the DAISY Award in recognition of the exceptional care she provided to my husband during his visit to the emergency room at AdventHealth Lake Wales. My husband came in experiencing severe diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, and significant abdominal pain. It was an incredibly stressful and uncomfortable situation for him, but from the moment Brandy began caring for him, everything felt more manageable. She was incredibly compassionate, attentive, and professional. She made sure he was as comfortable as possible and stayed on top of his needs every step of the way.

One moment that truly stood out was when she offered to bring him a bedside commode to make things easier, showing both her attentiveness and genuine concern for his comfort and dignity during such a difficult time. What also made a lasting impression was her ability to bring warmth and humor into the room. She was caring and funny, with a calming presence that helped ease both our worries. She turned a very overwhelming experience into something that felt much more manageable. She treated my husband with kindness, respect, and compassion, and it was clear that she truly cares about her patients. Nurses like her make all the difference, and we are so grateful she was there for us when we needed it most. Because of her dedication, compassion, and positive attitude, I wholeheartedly believe Brandy deserves recognition as a DAISY Award recipient.
