Brandy is one of the kindest most compassionate nurses, and it was no surprise that she received a Praise from Patients that recognized the nursing care that Brandy delivers every day.

On March 11th Brandy had received a patient from the ED that she had admitted to the PACU for pre-operative preparation. This child was extremely anxious and scared about his surgery and Brandy as always went above and beyond to help him relax before his surgery. She made sure that she was the first face he saw when woke up in the PACU after surgery. Later that day Brandy stopped on the unit and brought the child a present. The Mother stated in her letter "Five stars to Brandy, she went above and beyond to help my son's and pre-surgical anxiety as well as making sure she was there him when he woke during the day as he was sleeping off surgical meds, she came for a visit and delivered him a gift. He was so happy with the biggest smile ever when he woke up".

Brandy treats each and every child with the same compassionate care that she delivered to this child and how wonderful for her to be recognized by a parent for the exceptional work that she does every day.
