We met Braulio in recovery post-op a few years back after our son's first surgery at Medical City. He was warm, friendly and helpful to my son when he was obviously very upset. He also became a bit of a friend to my wife and me and we always remembered his kindness and when we got him 3 years later for two surgeries pretty much back to back in October of 2019. We have pretty much been in and out of the hospital for the whole month of October and my wife and I are drained emotionally and physically. However, whenever we got Braulio in recovery he seriously lifted our spirits big time with his warm personality. It is extremely taxing on a kid when he has 4 surgeries in a month but it is also so taxing for the parents when they watch their kid go through it, but Braulio restores a bit of joy and a huge breath of fresh air in the parents when they need it most. We are so thankful for all of the amazing staff at Medical City but Braulio has always stood out to us and is more of a friend amongst a world of clinicians.
