Braxton Robertson, RN

I recently had open heart surgery and was in CVICU at the hospital for 10 days. Braxton is extremely gifted in his specialization. Several times, he took the time to explain what to expect before, after, and recovery from my surgery. But what made him exceptional to me was his help with my IV/Bloodwork. My left arm had an IV in it, and it was extremely painful. One night, one of the nurses wanted to start a new IV and after several attempts, no luck in finding a vein and her attempts were so painful, I asked her to see if Braxton was available. Braxton was on his way home when they called and told him I had requested him to do it - he came back and did an IV in my other arm in minutes, with no pain. Braxton took blood several times with no pain - he is gifted at this, and he did it with a smile. I truly love his skill and his compassion - I can't thank him enough!
