A patient’s mother shared that she is so grateful for the care that her daughter received from the Emergency Department staff during her crisis. She would also like to thank Nurse Braylee and other staff members for providing care for her 5-year-old, twin 2-year-olds, and 1-year-old grandchildren while her son traveled from Maryland to pick up the children. She shared that she will be forever grateful. She shared that Central Harnett Hospital shows up for its community. She is so happy that her daughter is part of such a community.

Braylee came in at 6 am and was responsible for the kids from 6 am until the end of her shift, which was some 12+ hours later. She spent multiple hours of her day in the room caring for the very young and very energetic children, all while remaining in control of the unit as the RSN for the day. This was no easy feat, and I was happy that Braylee returned to work the next day and was not completely burned out! These children were in a time of crisis due to their Mother's sudden incapacity, but Braylee did an exceptional job keeping them safe, entertained, and well cared for. Great Job, Braylee!
