I am a heartbroken mother who had the family experience of great care of Breanna. My son committed suicide in March. Breanna was his night nurse, I did not leave that room because I did not want him to feel alone in the end. He was an organ donor and changed 6 lives. Breanna made sure to see him through the whole process, she was also the surgical nurse and assured me she would be there with him during the harvesting. She was there through it all. She inquired about my son and I was able to share stories about my son and she listened. She never made me feel bad about my son's situation. She always made sure I was comfortable and okay. I appreciated her care and was thankful for her compassion. I think she should receive this award and be acknowledged for her compassion, skills, and genuine personality. Thank You!
