Breanna Morgan, RN, CMSRN
I would like to take a moment to recognise Breanna Morgan for the outstanding work she does as a charge nurse. I have been a nurse for over a decade, and I can honestly say that I have never worked with someone as knowledgeable, respectful, supportive, and dedicated as she is.
I have only had the opportunity to work with Breanna twice when I was floated to the Trauma Unit. Despite such limited interaction, she made an immediate and lasting impression on me. Whenever I worked with her, she was available to help, answer questions, and provide guidance. Her leadership, professionalism, and positive attitude made a tremendous difference throughout the shift. She has a unique ability to make even the most challenging shifts feel manageable and enjoyable for the entire team.
As a Float Pool nurse, I have had the opportunity to work in many different units and alongside many charge nurses. I have also served as a charge nurse myself for many years, which gives me a deep appreciation for the skills and qualities required to excel in that role. Through those experiences, I can confidently say that Breanna is one of the best charge nurses I have ever worked with. Her clinical expertise, respect for others, willingness to support staff, and dedication to patient care make her an invaluable asset to her unit.
I wanted to formally recognise Breanna for all that she does and express my sincere appreciation for her leadership and support. I believe she exemplifies the qualities of excellence, compassion, and professionalism that the DAISY Award represents.
Breanna is an incredible asset to the organisation, and I commend her for the positive impact she has on her colleagues and patients every day.
