Due to the medical condition of the patient, it had been over 30 days since Breanna's patient had seen his wife. Breanna remained in contact with the patient's wife throughout his stay. The patient and his wife were thrilled when they were finally able to see each other.
The patient's condition began to deteriorate. Due to the thoroughness of Breanna's assessments and documentation, she and the Physician were able to give the best care possible. Breanna also kept the patient's wife well informed with every update.
Unfortunately, the patient's condition was not able to be managed. The patient was transported to the Emergency Center and passed away. The attention to detail, compassion, and care that Breanna gave during the patient's stay made the wife feel very appreciative. Breanna is genuinely an exceptional nurse.
