There was an intubated patient in the Emergency Department who needed to be transferred to MMC. We were in need of a nurse to go on the transport with the patient. I called Brenda and she picked up her phone and immediately came in to cover for another nurse to go on the transport. This was a time sensitive emergency transfer and Brenda coming in ultimately helped increase the chance for a positive outcome. I have personally called Brenda many times when in a pinch, she always picks up and often comes in to help. She has saved us more times than I can count. Brenda always does what she can to help.
