Brenda Carvalho, BSN, RNC-OB, C-EFM

Brenda has always been a very committed team member, but as a leader, she is transformational. She leads with her heart and soul. She leads by example, never expecting from the team something she is unwilling or able to do herself. She promotes positivity, and teamwork and is out working with her team, providing patient care at all hours of the day and night filling in when needed. She on occasion had to hand out coaching, but in the few times I was with her for that, she is fair, kind, and gets to the heart of the matter before working toward a resolution. She exemplifies our BayCare values and is a huge advocate for our nurses and patients. I think she is exactly the kind of leader we need to nurture in our organization.
