October 2014 Honoree
brenda donah, RN
A team member shared when Brenda Donah was in the A-1 hallway returning from transporting a patient, a very distraught woman approached her carrying a child. The woman asked if she was a nurse and without hesitation proceeded to hand her the child. Brenda calmly reassured the mother that the child was breathing and she would escort them to the ED triage to get assistance. The child was having a seizure. Brenda was recognized for remaining calm during a difficult situation to assist this mother and child.
Thank you, Brenda, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
