Nominated by the family member of a patient. "In December of 2018, my 1-year old daughter became very ill. This required several ED visits and an admission. On our final ED visit from a larger hospital, she was discharged with a medication that required compounding. Unfortunately, this took place on a 4-day holiday weekend. There were no compounding pharmacists available in the state. I called RRMC ED and spoke with Brenda who was in charge. She went above and beyond and was able to ensure my daughter would get her medicine. If she had not been able to obtain her medication, she would have had to be admitted over the Christmas holiday until she could obtain her medication. We are incredibly thankful for everything Brenda did for our family. Brenda truly went above and beyond."
