Brenda was the Nurse and charge nurse (Unit Supervisor) when she checked me in on the floor. She was very helpful, nice, and very professional. She was multitasking and did not miss a beat. She was interrupted by phone calls from doctors and questions from other workers but never lost her concentration on what she was doing……Never heard one complaint out of her mouth. Always pleasant attitude. Thank You so much, Brenda. Always checked up on me to make sure I was ok or if I needed anything. She was also training another nurse (ULL Student) and made sure she was doing things the right way. She went out of her way and above and beyond to get me the comfort I needed. She even came to check on me when she was not my nurse.

Brenda is a long-time employee of Lourdes. She has been on the Progressive Care Unit for over 25 years. She is a terrific nurse, and her patients receive the best care possible. Brenda attained RN Level 4, before becoming a Unit Supervisor and represents PCU on the Nurse Practice Council. She has been awarded the Franciscan Service Award and Outstanding Nurses of Acadiana. Truly deserving of The DAISY Nurse Leader Award.
