Upon arrival at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, our daughter was welcomed and treated with the highest care by Brenda Green. Due to our daughter's situation with backflow withdrawal's Brenda immediately became our child's advocate when addressing her pain and withdrawal symptoms. Her listening skills with us parents were of great importance to our needs and concerns about our daughter's recovery. Her knowledge and years of experience shine for all as her coworkers also look up to her. We feel that she is a perfect match that represents the DAISY Award and all it stands for. We notice her hard work and dedication to her job and care of her patients and their families. We noticed as in the PICU that she is often doing several shifts (days/nights). That work ethic is very admirable and inspirational for all that witness.
