I am writing to nominate Brenda Harrison, RN for the DAISY award. Brenda is a very caring, passionate and attentive nurse. While Brenda was caring for my husband in the PACU, there happened to be a code blue called within the same area as my husband. Brenda was kind enough to come out to the family in the waiting area to let me know there were no worries and that my husband was fine. I appreciate her taking the time to come and reassure me of my husband's condition. I felt very comfortable and knew that my husband was in good hands under Brenda's care.
