Brenda is a longstanding RN at GSH. She has always been flexible in doing anything asked of her. Recently, our team leader left and Brenda volunteered as interim team leader. Since doing this, Brenda completed all new Surginet preference cards for MedConnect II, revamped the existing preference cards, has supported and advocated the staff within the OR assigned to these cases. Brenda is always visible in the rooms helping staff, communicating with surgeons regarding their needs, troubleshooting equipment. Brenda has tirelessly worked to maintain and improve this service along with performing charge duties periodically and supervisor call fir OR on weekends. The surgeons have experienced a very smooth transition of service/team leader without interruption of their quality patient care.
