When all else fails, there Brenda remains.
Brenda is always caring. She goes far beyond her call of duty. When you ask her to come check on a patient, she’s right there. She’s also the type of Nurse that keeps the PNA’s (Psychiatric Nursing assistants) updated on the status of our patients. Brenda is always friendly, kind, considerate, and treats everyone fairly. She works extremely hard with our patients. You can tell she truly cares about them. She’s always advocating for them, whether it be communicating with the Doctors regarding medication or simply inviting them to come to sit and talk with her in the day room to figure out a solution to their problem. When all else fails, there Brenda remains. Most of our patients are loud and aggressive and it can be very difficult at times. It takes special people to care for this vulnerable population. Brenda is a special fit for the role, and special to our unit. Thank you for all you do Brenda, we Love you!
