I wanted to let you know how proud the events of last Friday made me be a part of this team. We had a mentally challenged patient who was clearly very distraught and inconsolable. He had an unfortunate home situation that he wasn't adjusting to.
Without telling the whole story, Brenda went above and beyond. Brenda worked tirelessly to get him a suitable arrangement and even stood up to a doctor in order to do what was best for the patient. She did all the things that we mean to do as caregivers, but don't have time to do. I was so proud to be a part of taking care of him because of them.
