Brenda was nominated by her patient in the Short Procedure Unit. This patient was anxious about her surgery and the type of anesthesia she was receiving. After the Anesthesiologist came to speak to her, she became more upset. Brenda took the time to talk with the patient and make sure the patient understood everything the doctor explained to her. The patient said, "Brenda was very comforting to me". After her surgery, Brenda was her nurse again and she said, "Brenda took very good care of me 'til I was wheeled out! I appreciate EVERYTHING she did for me!"
