Brendan is phenomenal! To be greeted at 5:30 am by this cheerful, handsome, yet professional registered nurse after a sleepless, restless night- anxiously anticipating surgery- was more than we could have hoped for. He immediately put both of us completely at ease as he welcomed us to the hospital and led us to our pre-op room- even offering to help carry items for us. He even made a concerted effort to correctly pronounce our long Greek last name. He made the pre-op experience so easy, as he guided both of us through each step with details, making sure that we completely understood all the necessary protocols and issues at hand, ensuring that we were both comfortable, calm, and had everything that we needed. With my husband having a 3-5 hour procedure, he was kind enough to check on me in the waiting area several times. Brendan is an example of the finest in nursing care- the example of a role model in knowledge, professionalism, ethical behavior, compassion, patient support, empathy, and so much more.

CJW has always been our choice for medical care, and he is an example of why. He deserves recognition for his outstanding above and beyond care given to us today, and we are grateful that we were so fortunate to have had him as our nurse as my husband began this medical procedure this morning. He is outstanding and we are very thankful for Brendan. He is so deserving of this phenomenal award, for the phenomenal professional that he is!
