Brenna O'Boyle, RN

It does not take much time while interacting with Brenna O'Boyle to determine that she truly cares about her patients and the care they receive. Brenna went above and beyond in the name of patient care and safety in one particular instance known to me and I have no doubt in many other instances as well. At the start of her shift one morning, she assumed care of a new patient. Upon initial assessment of this patient, Brenna identified a patient's life threatening condition that had been overlooked and immediately escalated it so that life saving interventions could begin. She acted swiftly and displayed strong critical thinking skills. Once the situation was handled, Brenna escalated her findings to management in a professional manner with the hope of fostering collaboration to identify areas of improvement for future patients. Brenna exemplifies what it means to lead with integrity, compassion, and positivity as a nurse who helps others live better. Brenna, thank you for all that you do and for who you are.
