Brent Clayton, RN
Brent has been a nurse for a while, and no matter how busy he gets he never lowers his standard for his patients. His patients are always well taken care of. He is the most patient person I have seen with even the most difficult of patients. Just recently he had a patient who passed away. The family wanted the deceased patient to go to Mexico. It was a very large family and they had never lost a family member. The whole experience was new and scary for them as well, as nobody in the unit that day had ever sent a patient to another country. Brent was the ultimate middleman on meeting the family’s needs and respecting their wishes. It was such a difficult time for them, and he did everything in his power to accommodate for them. He is just such an amazing nurse who continues to bring compassion to work even after all the trying and tiring times.
