Brent was recognized as an outstanding role model by a patientwho had surgery for Prostate Cancer and was in Valley View Hospitalfor three days. According to him, hehad the great fortune of having the same nurse for all three days - Brent. He would like to recognize Brent for his amazing nursing skills; his calm and reassuring manner, his steady, watchful eye, and his ability to make his patient have confidence in every move he makes.The operation was not a critical life-and-death situation, and yet, for the patient, it was the biggest experience of his life. He sensed from Brent enormous respect for the magnitude of this surgery and its aftermath. "Brent's ability to put a patient at ease is solid gold, and his skills are beyond compare. Valley View is fortunate to have him, and so was I," stated the patient.
