Brent is an awesome nurse. He goes the extra mile in whatever he does. He made it his personal goal to see one of his stroke patients get better. He made sure she got out of bed, did PT himself, and when he found out she didn't have medical coverage he organized an event with a local restaurant that contributed over $2500 to her care. She was able to get a walker and other equipment. After 6 months, she was finally able to go home. He called her almost daily and encouraged her. She came back to see us not long ago, walking with only a cane as aid. If Brent had not encouraged her, found things for her to do and been a friend to her, she would not have recovered so well.
