I would absolutely want Brett to be the nurse to take care of me or my family members.
Brett exemplifies excellence in his patient care every day. He is our main EP RN and takes care of most of the doctor’s patients. Recently, the doctor’s NP reached out to me to express what an excellent job we are doing taking care of their patients. She stated that all the patients had nothing but amazing things to say about our team. She made a point to go out of her way to express how much she and the doctor appreciate the experience patients have in our EP department.
Brett acts as the face of this team to the patients as he is the nurse that will pick them up and explain the entire process to them, and cares for them throughout the case. He goes early to pick up these patients to make sure they have no concerns or questions and relieves their anxiety with his positive and upbeat presence. I would absolutely want Brett to be the nurse to take care of me or my family members because he shows such compassionate care to all of his patients and takes the time to connect with them on a personal level. I am so proud to have Brett on our team here in the cath lab and honored to work with him every day, even if it means I get to hear the same corny jokes over and over!
