Brett is very deserving of the DAISY award, according to the daughter of a patient who nominated her. “Brett watched over my mother with compassion. Brett has a calming voice and would explain test results and doctors orders in a way we could all understand. She would stay past her shift to pass on important information to the next nurse, making sure all of my mother’s needs were taken care of before she left.”
