Brett Szymonik, RN

I really felt Brett made my care feel personal by forming a more individual relationship with me. I came to trust and value his insights during my recovery. He was also my greatest advocate, as I was dealing with a lot of back pain unrelated to my surgery. He went to a great lengths to find a way to ease my recovery. While he provided my regular care, he occasionally brought up questions about the LGBTQ community and it was clear, he was approaching these questions from a place of learning, so that he could better provide care for future patients. That is something I greatly appreciated. Overall, Brett was an outstanding nurse and I’m grateful I was under his care
