I usually get an October sinus infection – but this one “felt” way different. After working with my PCP, it was suggested if I didn’t feel better in a few days to let them know. I did, and they sent me to urgent care, who then sent me to the ED. This is how I met Brian and the team of the most highly skilled, compassionate, caring crew. This is a “well-oiled machine”! They calmed my anxiety and proceeded to prep me for the next steps to help cure my pneumonia. I’ve never had anything like that (being on oxygen and going for a CT scan)! Brian and the team were thorough and extremely communicative about each step of the process with the utmost care and respect. He treated me with dignity and respect from the minute I entered his room – that was huge for me. Everyone that I saw in the ER really loved their jobs, worked well as a team and discussed treatments with me and each other like a well-oiled machine. Especially Brian - he made my anxiety melt away. I couldn’t be more pleased with him or the hospital. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me get better. He is the epitome of a nurse who is compassionate for his patients and treats them like they are family members. You usually don’t see this – I did in Brian! He is an asset to this hospital.
