I arrived at the Kings County Hospital Emergency Department with shortness of breath due to having COVID-19 and pneumonia. RN Goodman immediately attended to my care by taking my vitals and putting me on oxygen. My oxygen levels were extremely low, and I needed care ASAP because of my asthma. RN Brian Adzadi and RN Goodman rushed me into critical care and immediately started working on me. I was extremely scared and thought that I was going to die but they stood by my side and made me feel safe and ensured me that I was going to fight this. After I was stable, I was transferred to D6N by RN Adzadi who was just amazing and very caring. Hours later a code 88 was called to my room due to my oxygen levels dropping. RN Adzadi immediately ran to my room from the ED 1st floor to the 6th floor to ensure that I was okay. I was scared and started crying, but RN Adzadi comforted me and stayed by my side. RN Goodman and RN Adzadi are my angels, and I will never forget them because of the extraordinary compassion and love that they gave me. Thanks to them I’m alive and well today.
