Brian de Jesus was very helpful in explaining things in a way that made it easier to understand. He also took the time to make sure we were comfortable with all the changes and never hesitated when we had concerns. He even stayed to make sure we were okay and made sure everyone was on the same page although it was time for him to go during a snowstorm. Others probably would have rushed home, but not Brian.
Brian would make an excellent teacher. He has a gift for explaining technical terms and makes it easier to understand. He also was very thorough and detailed which helped when there were many doctors saying different things. We are grateful he made it a point to be the "central hub" for information during a very confusing time. Brian would anticipate our needs before we even knew what was needed. He is the epitome of what "bedside manner" should be, and his calm, friendly voice was very comforting during an extremely stressful time.
