When I think of the care that Brian gave to my husband during his stay in the CCU the first word that comes to mind is WOW! He is a caring, compassionate and kind professional. Brian effortlessly provided superior care not only to my husband, but to me as well. He answered any questions that arose and carefully explained anything that I didn't understand. Brian made sure that I had a chance to talk to my husband's physicians if I had missed the time they were rounding. He would let them know that I was there and asked them to stop by and talk to me. He would ask multiple times during his shift if there was anything he could do for me. He also took the time to coordinate a meeting with a Hospice nurse and helped me understand, through his explanations, what the benefits were in this service.

Brian made me feel a little more at ease just knowing that he was the person and nurse caring for my husband. He is definitely an outstanding nurse! The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is very fortunate to have him on staff.
