Brian is the kind of nurse who is always there to support his co-workers in times of need.
Brian was in charge on a very busy day in the Emergency Department and made sure to check in on all of the nurses to ensure no one needed any assistance. Two critical situations came in at one time and he transitioned from one to the next in an efficient manner. I had a patient who was a code STEMI, needing a lot of attention and Brian was at the bedside assisting the doctors, the patient, and me, with quick decision making. He remained calm throughout the whole situation and ensured everyone had what they needed, when they needed it, for the patient's best interest. By the time the patient was transported to the cath lab, the chart was complete. Everything in this situation ran like clockwork. Brian deserves to be recognized for being so positive, supportive, and efficient.
