I proudly nominate Brian Perry for the DAISY Award in recognition of the exceptional care he provided during my time as a patient. From the very beginning, he set himself apart through his professionalism, compassion, and genuine dedication to ensuring my comfort and well-being.
He was consistently prompt and attentive, always responding quickly whenever I needed assistance. Whether he answered my call light or checked in without being asked, he made me feel seen, cared for, and never alone during my stay. His timeliness with medications demonstrated not only his reliability but also his commitment to recovery and safety.
What truly made his care exceptional was his authenticity. He took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and patiently, never making me feel rushed or like an inconvenience. He explained everything clearly, helping me understand my care and giving me a sense of confidence and peace during a time that often felt a little overwhelming.
Beyond clinical care, he went above and beyond to connect with me personally. He showed a sincere interest in getting to know my family, which meant so much to me. That effort helped create trust and comfort, turning what could have been a stressful experience into one filled with warmth and reassurance.
He also brought a wonderful sense of humor and personality to his work.
