It was approximately 2-3 weeks ago that my brother-in-law, M, was brought into your SICU Unit. In short, my brother-in-law is in End Stage Cancer, with an unknown life expectancy. He had suffered Status Epilepticus and was on a Breathing vent. Needless to say, our entire family was in a complete panic, beyond description. Brian was the Nurse in charge of M's care. My mere words cannot adequately describe the extraordinary level of Compassion, Empathy, Knowledge, Care, Comfort… the list goes on that Brian showed both M and our entire family! Frankly, he did everything right and at the right time! In short order, everyone in the family, including M, was at ease and knew well that Brian cared for and about the entire family!
Brian redeemed my faith in the Medical System. He is that outstanding of an individual and a Nurse.
