At the beginning of the month, I had a patient who had been upset with their care due to not getting the correct dose of medication. The patient's wife was very upset and frustrated, talking it all out on me. As I walked out of the room I was very visibly upset. Bri noticed immediately and took me away to talk. Without hesitation, Bri took over the care of the patient. She didn’t have to do any of it, but she made sure I was okay and really showed compassion towards myself and the patient. Bri is constantly checking in with us nurses and providing help in any way she can. Bri is a wonderful nurse leader and deserves to get recognized for her amazing care and support.
