Affectionately known as “Kat” by her colleagues, she passionately ceaselessly devotes herself to her students and colleagues. She uses her office hours to offer Think-Tank sessions weekly to promote critical thinking skills for our students in a common area. More than 40 students participate in the session. They love the sessions. Kat exudes excitement, intelligence, team commitment, and spontaneity in her classes, Think-Tanks, and in her extensive YouTube following. She is truly a YouTube celeb! Her integrity and helpfulness model excellence in nursing for students to emulate in their practice.
