Brianna Keul, RN, BSN, TCRN

My fiancé C was admitted to the NTMICU after being shot in the line of duty. Brianna admitted C to the ICU and is absolutely exceptional. Being an ICU nurse myself, I always think about the care that I would want my family member to receive if they were to ever be admitted. Brianna is the nurse that you would want to take care of your family member day after day, and you know that your loved one is in great hands. She was always there to listen and offer comfort and reassurance during his entire ICU stay to both me and his family. I am lucky enough to also know Brianna by taking care of patients alongside her. I have been able to witness firsthand the countless hours that she dedicates to her patients and how she always goes above and beyond to ensure that they are receiving the best care possible. She always creates a supportive and welcoming environment, and her empathy and kindness are seen in every interaction. Brianna has made such an impact on C and I's life, and I can't thank her enough for taking care of C during his recovery. I am honored to nominate her for the DAISY.
