Ms. Picht was recognized by her patient’s family for her swift care and attention to detail providing her patient with not only the medication they need but also the compassion and kindness they deserve. Likewise, providing comforting support to her patient’s family members in the most difficult times. The intensive care environment may seem intimidating to patients and family members, but Ms. Picht helped to quiet their fears with words of encouragement and compassion.
