Brianna Miller cared for an unfortunate patient who suffered a major stroke post-op. The patient was quite depressed. Bri arranged and took the patient outside several days, arranged to have his dog brought in and when needing something soft to eat the patient wanted a Twinkie so Bri brought in Twinkies the next shift she worked. When the patient was transferred to a rehab facility, he gave her a big hug and kiss.
Bri also had a very difficult patient and family situation; lice and bed bugs were found on the patient and on some family members. She was fantastic, respectful, empathetic, and supportive with all. She always does the little extras for her patients.
