Brianna Mitchell, BSN, RN

Brianna is an outstanding nurse on every shift she works, but tonight, she went above and beyond. Despite a very busy ED and a full patient load, she took very special care of a patient with dementia who was holding in the ED. While other attempts at redirection failed, Brianna took the time to find activities to keep the patient safely occupied. She kept the patient from becoming agitated or having escalated behaviors. The patient was all smiles while being cared for by Brianna and became much more agreeable to her needed care. All of Brianna’s patients are lucky to have such a compassionate nurse!
