Bri is a strong and very knowledgeable nurse. She is one of the driving forces on our unit, and we are very lucky to have her and learn from her. Whether Bri is acting as charge, or working the floor, she has a constant presence on the floor.
Whenever she gets wind of the beginning of a developing issue or notices something wrong at the tele station, you can be guaranteed she is checking in with the nurse, or right at the patient's door to conduct her own assessment and readily offer her support.
She has no issue jumping into a situation with calm and steady assurance for the primary nurse, as well as, any family in the room.
Without Bri, the night shift would be lacking in support, teamwork, and a leader, as well as an advocate for nurses and patients alike.
