brianna szymanski, BSN, RN

Brianna is an excellent nurse and has the potential to be a strong leader. I particularly appreciate Brianna because she spends quality time out in the milieu with patients. I have heard from several patients about how helpful she is and the support she provides. She is admirably considered to be one who is patient-oriented and task-oriented (she gets her tasks done!). She is always looking to learn and grow as a nurse. She genuinely is enthusiastic about educational opportunities and participates actively in training provided. She has a unique understanding of patient and milieu dynamics.
Brianna has the emotional maturity to balance empathy and warmth with needing to be firm with our patients. For example, a recent patient became emotionally dysregulated and was verbally abusive with Brianna. She was able to remain calm and she successfully defused and de-escalated the situation.
