Brianna Turner, LPN

I woke up on my 2nd day in the hospital feeling worse rather than better. I was feeling very defeated and angry at myself for putting myself through this again! My spirits were very low, and I was just an emotional wreck. I felt helpless and hopeless, and I certainly did not feel like smiling. I was in pain and desperately wanted to get in the shower. My heart was heavy. I was extremely sad, fighting back tears.

Enter Brianna. Brianna came bouncing into my room with a huge smile on her face. She greeted me, introduced herself, and I was struck by her kind voice, her welcoming smile, and her warm demeanor. She was kind, patient, and I felt seen and heard. She reassured me that everything else could wait if a shower was what it would take to make me feel "normal" again.

She was attentive to my needs, even foreseeing my needs before I did. She turned my entire morning/day around, and I'm grateful for her service to me and my care. Sometimes a person comes along and helps turn a bad situation around into an enjoyable experience. Her kindness stretched throughout the entire day. Attentive, and I can tell she loves her work. Thank you, Brianna!
