This nurse’s patient had been walking in the hall. She stopped at the nurse's station to say hello. The next thing I knew, this nurse had Alan Jackson playing, and they were dancing. The patient and staff had a great time. I enjoyed hearing the laughter. This nurse is a phenomenal nurse and gives so much to her patients.

This nurse listened; going on comfort care is hard.  This nurse made lasagna because it’s a favorite.  Not sure if it would be eaten again.

This nurse is very friendly, caring, and attentive to her patients.  This particular patient received a terminal diagnosis.  He refused treatment, went CMO, and by doing so, angered his children.  This nurse sat with this patient and supported his decisions.  He appreciated her listening and respecting his decisions.  During their conversation, he mentioned wanting to eat homemade lasagna before he passed away.  This nurse went home that evening and brought him homemade lasagna the next day.  She has left quite an impression on this man’s heart.  He was grateful for kindness, time, and empathy.  This nurse is a fabulous nurse, and she does so much for her patients.  She is a great role model.
