Bridget has been a hard worker during her transition from Bigelow 12 to Austin 1 If the floor is short-staffed as a result of a sick call, she is the first to be available to help in any way possible.

The ED observation nurse manager, Bridget Conly, is an exceptional leader in our department. Having worked in the ED for years, she is aware of the ongoing ED struggles with decompressing the department. This year, Bridget moved our department from Bigelow 12 to Austin 1 and has been advocating and tirelessly devoting her time to the new unit. Bridget is visible and resourceful in trying to make sure the appropriate population is being brought to the unit to maintain a quick turnover time, with the goal being less than 24 hours. Bridget tackles challenges head-on and is present to help us on the unit whenever there is a need. She will assist with patient care tasks and supporting assignments when there is a need.
