I have found myself looking forward to treatment, just so I could see her and spend time with her. She's made them delightful, really. She has become more than a nurse to me; she is like family. I wouldn't want to do this without her.
Bridget has been my nurse for the past two years, as I have battled ovarian cancer twice in the last couple of years. I've had 16 treatments in all, and she has been by my side through them all.
She is an exceptional nurse who truly cares, and she is compassionate with her patients. She is knowledgeable about everything and takes the time to explain things, and she always addresses any concerns we may have.
She is super sweet, and she's always making conversation with my husband and me. She goes above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She's also very funny, and she's always making us laugh.
We talk about everything from our favorite hobbies to our families and really just about life in general. She keeps me updated on my blood work, explaining all of it.
Once when my blood was low, she went to the doctor and made sure he was aware of it so I could get a blood transfusion asap. She listens to me gripe when I feel the need to vent, and she encourages me, always.
She also knows that I really like the infusion spot that is tucked away in the corner, and she always makes sure that she saves that spot for me, if at all possible. I love that! The little things count too!

She is most definitely heaven-sent, and she is such a blessing to me. She totally deserves recognition for not only what an amazing nurse she is, but for the amazing person that she is.
She has made a lasting impact on my husband's and my lives, and we will forever be grateful to her. She's not only my favorite nurse, but she has also come to be one of my dearest friends.
We absolutely love her and cannot imagine doing this without her there. She is a Godsend.
